I dined on the final evening of their November 2024 menu, which featured a newly expanded seven-course format. Standout dishes included a delicate scallop paired with butternut squash, tender pork belly crowned with ultra-crispy skin, and zabuton steak served with sunchoke three-ways. One must-try item, their beloved brioche toasts, was available à la carte. As a first-timer, I couldn’t pass up the trio with ahi tuna, Hokkaido uni, and decadent caviar. The buttery brioche brought to mind the DIY uni brioche dish served at partner chef Mourad’s recently closed namesake restaurant in San Francisco. In addition to the dishes, I very much enjoyed the balanced craft cocktails. I was tempted by their cocktail pairing option, and saw that they also offer zero proof cocktails. We enjoyed the full dinner menu at the bar, and the service was excellent—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. The combination of hospitality, atmosphere, and cuisine made Miro Kaimuki one of my favorite dining experiences of 2024!

Delightful meal, this place is Michelin star worthy! Everything was beautifully presented with such care and innovation. And all delicious flavors, to say the least. We also really enjoyed the cocktail pairing, which you rarely see offered. Each cocktail was well balanced and crafted to complement the flavors of each dish served.

Hands down, this was our best meal on this visit. We've done a tasting almost every day on this trip and this was by far our favorite! From the food, to the small details like changing the silverware, using the proper glasses for the wine, and clearing the crumbs from the table between courses, this place gets it all right. The service is exceptional and everyone made us feel like we were a part of their family. Thank you to Chef Chris, Martin, and the entire staff for an EXTRAORDINARY experience. We cannot wait to do it again!

Oh, Miro Kaimuki, how do we love thee!! Let me count the ways... Maitre'd extraordinaire Martin Martensson graced us with his special attention, as he passionately and flawlessly guided us through a thoughtful and soulful culinary adventure. We savored the most decadent and well-balanced dishes imaginable, along with cocktail pairings, little treats, surprises and laughter along the way. To start, amuse bouche and complimentary champagne. Then, a progression of flavor packed courses, along with a few decadent accompaniments, including the escargot and ahi tuna on brioche. Elegant, timely and smiling servers performed like clockwork for a seamless progression. Tip - Dip your sourdough in the escargot butter garlic sauce after you eat them for a taste of heaven on earth. The menus change often, so we cannot wait to return to enjoy the new offerings. Miro was a wonderful tasting menu experience! We really enjoyed the flow of the dishes and each was delicately assembled and very delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect and we highly reccomend doing the premium wine pairing! It was a perfect compliment to the dishes!

My husband and I went here for celebration. From outside, I was not sure. Also, I drove by here many times but never paid attention to this place. I side is totally different from outside. It is much nicer, stylish and good atmosphere. We took a counter seat. The acoustic in this place was a bit too loud for me, so I was glad sitting next to each other helped. This place may not be suitable for quiet romantic place though. The food was great enough. Portion was good, but for some people may find not full enough. I could have eaten more, so it was satisfied amount. (maybe better for health wise.)

I booked Miro Kaimuki back in Sydney Australia to celebrate mum’s 60th birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, I panicked because the outside did not look like a fine dining restaurant! But from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and interior was totally different from the exterior. The set menu surprised us with its inventive combinations of fresh ingredients, each dish beautifully presented on our plates. All dishes provided alternative options to cater my dietary requirement (vegetarian). We ordered two bottles of wine and a non-alcoholic cocktail. My favourite dishes were the Miro sourdough bread and beef cheek, celery root & green farro (beef was replaced by mushroom for vegetarian). The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, their friendly demeanor and attentiveness adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. I am so pleased that I found Miro Kaimuki to celebrate mum’s special day and I will definitely recommend Miro Kaimuki to all my Aussie friends.
